I know tea tree oil is not a scabies cure but infact if you put a drop on every post scabies infection mark or pimple like mark each and everyday 3 times a day it will help heal almost anything. This stuff stinks like crazy but its a great antiseptic and is the most useful oil to prevent infections and cure infections. You know alot of post secondary scabies infections are likely to occur because you just put your skin through chemicals and it is very septic to infection. Take care of your skin in post scabies, try using tea tree oil on spots , that is if your skin can handle it , some people may have to dilute it as it is a very strong oil that comes from the meluluca plant which origins in australia.

I use it in a daily bath in the evening it is very relaxing and calms the skin enoguh where i can actually sleep. The first couple baths seemed my skin was pretty sensitive to it, like it felt very cool on my skin even though i was in a warm bath. It definetely seems like a very powerful oil. Its no wonder some people think you can cure scabies with tea tree oil undiluted. Woudlnt suprise me none.

Thanks , I am going to try this! Would love to get a full nights rest for once. Hopefully this stuff works and doesnt stink too much as I work days so the evenings I will try this in a bath.

I tried using Tea tree oil to kill my scabies for 3months and it never did anything but mask the itchiness and stink up my whole house. At first I was diluting it with water and applying it all over my body 2 times a day. Then I was using it undiluted on all areas for months, this stuff does not work. Sure you will feel less itchy but it is not a full scabies killer, it may kill the odd scabies mite that is close to the skin surface. But do not be like me and think that it was a cure all for scabies because you will find yourself mad and starting all over again. I do think it is good for the skin and skin infections htough, this mite be good to use in post scabies after you killed your scabies.

This stuff does not work! And it is absolutely the worse thing to smell each and everyday, my skin was even real sensitive to it, it pretty much made my skin more red.

PLEASE IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME PLEASE PLEASE WRITE YOUR EMAIL TO ME AND REPLY...i have had scabies for a while and um well my doctor gave me some permethrin and it didnt work i mean i used teat ree oil once and it felt so good but i want to know how you can get rid of scabies for good i bought some raid fumagator and i bought some rid home surface spray with this work i even washed everything put them in bags and i even vacumed everyday PLEASE HELP ME i want to get rid of this for ever and oh how long with it take for scabies to heal after treatment.

Tea tree oil will not work and depending on what kind of scabies you have or how long you had them undiagnosed the permethrin may not work. I agree! Tea tree oil is only an antifungal and antibacterial so it will not kill scabies. Tea tree oil is moreless used for infections, acne, cleaning of wounds and many many other common household cures. They even put it into sprays in household cleaners nowadays. Im not a huge fan as it has a real musky smell thats not too nice on the nose.

Stick to using sulfur for scabies and tea tree oil for acne. Tea tree oil will not kill scabies as it has been medically proven. It will reduce the redness in lesions and prevent secondary infection on areas of lesions that are severe though. This about all it is good for in post scabies!

Tea tree oil does not work as it was the second thing I tried after several failed permethrin treatments. I even tried different types of creams such as Nix and Kwelleda P and nothing worked. Next I tried using tea tree oil and all it did was make my skin worse and stink my whole house up, I could not even get rid of that smell for months as it was very strong. After further investigation tea tree oil is not a scabies killer and is only good for antibacterial wounds and anti-fungal infections. I guess it would be good on the lesions and open cuts that come with scabies but as far as a scabies killer it is not one. Here is what I used to kill my scabies within a matter of days: Scabies Creams and SoapsI suggest you get the family pack as it will be everything you need to kill scabies on your family and in your environment. Remember when one person gets scabies it is important to treat everyone within your home so you dont pass it around like a game of hot potato because it becomes that much more difficult to deal with!

Main ingredients in Dermisil are posted as Tea Tree oil, Neem Oil, and coconut oil, etc. Strange to say then that Tea tree oil does not work. There seem to be many sites that suggest that tea tree oil does indeed kill them on contact within a very short time but the trick is continuing doseage to kill the hatched larvae that come to the surface before burrowing. (7-8 days). Cocnut oil is the suggested vehicle to get the tea tree oil below the surface of the skin (only the first layer where the bugs burrow to). Just some thoughts. I suggest searching the medical docs and college studies instead of the doctor sites :). A bit less.....agenda-ed.

The soaps contain sulfur which is great and they have exfoliants. They really helped me during post scabies so they do work.

Tea tree oil will certainly not work as it is an antiseptic which is used to fight infections such as staph or ringworm. Scabies is an actual mite and some probably think tea tree oil will work because it is an infection but tea tree oil would be pretty much useless against a scabies and is probably hard on your skin undiluted.

I tried tea tree oil for months even undiluted directly on areas and it did not kill scabies but it was good for helping the lesions go away but it definetely did not kill the mites.

Not sure why people even bother with things like tea tree oil or bleach when it is pretty obvious that sulfur will kill scabies. Some of these posts I read on here in regards to bleach and tea tree oil are not very smart. Bleach will damage your skin and will make it succeptable to things like secondary infections such as staph.
