Scabies is an infectious skin condition that is caused by the mites. It could spread by coming in contact with the infected person. There are quite a lot of synthetic medications that can treat the disease, however not all of them are mild to the skin. With the improved medical conditions off lately, quite a lot of complementary therapies have been successful.

Treatment for scabies includes the application of a lotion or a cream on the infected areas. Some of the most affected body parts include knees, elbows, skin folds around the wrist, and webbing between the fingers. You must also use a non-toxic bed bug treatment in order to treat the bugs. We have listed down some of the home based treatments for scabies as below:

Extract and apply the fresh juice of apricot leaves on the infected area. It is known to have some beneficial effects on the skin.

You can also make a paste out of turmeric powder and neem leaves with mustard oil. Apply this paste on the body and keep it for at least an hour. Repeat these sessions until the itchiness is completely cured.

Extract juice from about 400 to 500gms of drumstick leaves and add an equal amount of sesame seed oil. This combination is known to have strong anti- microbial properties.

Lotions containing sulphur or gamma benzene hexachloride are available in the market. Ensure to scratch all the red bumps before applying the lotions. Contact with infected persons should be avoided as much as possible.

Thanks for the info! I was really reluctant to put the Kwelleda P cream on me and my daughter because it has pesticides and insecticides in it. Just want to thank you for the wonderful natural treatment, it likely saved us alot of skin problems with the post scabies and post permethrin.
