I think I am healed and gone of the bugs. I dont really have lots of scratching any more, and most my bumps are fading away slowly. I applied the 5% cream on tuesday night , then I was scared and did it again friday night. Thats because I noticed a more red lesions then I had on tuesday.
Anyone know if this sounds familiar or am I all done?

Give it some time, you are probably in Post Scabies period. You can apply permethrin twice at 7days apart to make sure you killed off the mite cycle. But after that do not retreat, wait atleast a month for the post scabies itches and healing to end then you can tell if you may need another treatment.

This is a pretty interesting find on scabies treatments, it seems alot of treatments are failing nowadays as the scabies becomes more resistant, it could be that natural remedies work better... http://www.goarticles.com/cgi-bin/showa.cgi?C=2255869Could be time for people to create different cures to be given out OTC

Try this thread out: http://scabieshelpnow.com/helpforum/yaf_postst422_This-really-Works-for-Scabies.aspxThis seems to be the best scabies killer for people having trouble with permethrin or wanting to treat naturally. Dermisil products contain a sulphur composition which is a known scabies killer and will penetrate the thickest skin. As you know most of the time when people are having troubles with scabies it is due to the fact the scabies creates a mucus layer of skin which protects the scabies and their eggs. This is why this treatment protocol is suggested and it is also natural so you dont have to worry about post secondary infections. Good Luck!
