I always see on Cnn that citrus kills any bugs. So my question is would bathing or putting a diluted citrus mixture on you actually stop them ? Or atleast help them from going back on you? Cause I know if you bath in diluted tea tree oil every night it will help.

Im pretty sure this mite detour them from coming to live on you , but as far as killing them I think it would be pretty much useless.

Yeah I always wondered about this when I seen Sarah from CSI said she always uses citrus when showering to keep off any bugs. It seens alot of the information on that show is probably pretty correct, though im sure it wont kill scabies but im sure it is a great precaution to take when working around bums and dead people. Who knows this mite work to keep them away from you. Worth looking into i say.....

I would think that this mite be a preventative measure against types of mites and bugs, but would highly doubt if its a cure for scabies. Try using regular scabies treatments and cures!

Yeah I would doubt this would work.. Scabies tend to be under the first area of skin, you would likely have to bath in citrus for days in order to kill an entire scabies infection.
Nice try though
p.s - Tea Tree oil don't work either

Citrus juice is only used as a preventative measure of not getting chiggers or mites, it will not kill them!

Citrus will not kill scabies, neither will neem oil. I have tried both with no success, the only way i could see citrus working would to be prevent reinfection or keeping them off of you. I am fairly sure though that the scabies mites are attracted to heat and scent!
