Scabies is a skin disease caused by a parasitic mite called ‘Sarcoptes scabiei’. These parasites are burrowed beneath the surface of the skin and it takes a while before they actually start showing symptoms. Scabies can cause a lot of irritation and rash on the skin accompanied with itching and pain.

It is often reported by the scabies patients that the scabies itch gets worse at night. The reason behind this could be that these parasites thrive on the human body. They are also known to be light phobic and stay in the skin while the human body is active during the day. The red patches or the scaly appearances prove that the mites are underlying on that particular location. The mites survive on the human blood and reproduce very fast. At the night, when the human host is still, these mites usually leave the skin, in order to search for more mates. They can also hide in the bed sheets or other objects. They often die off once they leave the human host and therefore they remained burrowed under the skin. As soon as the mammals relax or slow down their activities, the mites start reproducing themselves, so as to survive.

For this mere reason, all the medications for scabies are focussed towards eliminating them completely. Even during or after the treatment process, the mites are highly itchy and such symptoms might till long. The dead mites continue to stay beneath the skin and hence continue to cause allergic conditions in the skin.

There are numerous different ways to kill scabies naturally instead of using dangerous chemicals such as permethrin. If your looking to kill your scabies with 3 items from your grocery store within 24 hours you should visit http://ScabiesHomeTreatment.com

So the scabies itching only occurs at night? Cause I itch both at nighttime and during the day. IS there different kinds of scabies mites or do bird mites itch during the day and night?

Itching associated with scabies can be both in the day and evening as your skin is allergic to the scabies mites and their debris, the itching during the night if it is more intense is likely active scabies as they are feeding during the evening hours.
