Constance called us in desperation and we suggested a simple solution. Bathe each family member twice a day in 1 cup of borax. Borax helps stop the growth of bacteria and fungus in a natural way. To avoid re-infestation, wash all clothing, towels and bedding in hot water, using our Borax Laundry Soup. Hand wash all combs, brushes and barrettes in hot water and borax.

Constance found the baths soothing and the scabies were gone within 2 to 3 days. The rash took about two weeks to clear up, but the itching was gone. Constance used a magnifying glass to check the family for symptoms which would indicate re-infection. The entire family has been free of symptoms for over a month.

Yeah Borax is very good to bath with, I also find epsom salts and tea tree oil is another good thing to bath with during scabies and post scabies , it can kill stragglers and help skin fight infection and reinfestations. Good Call

God Bless

I never heard of this! I know using borax in flooring or carpeting will kill scabies, but I do not think that bathing with borax will kill them. Maybe I am wrong ?

I doubt that bathing in borax is going to kill your scabies, likely it mite reduce itching associated with scabies or post scabies but it will not kill scabies!

Do they sell borax in local grocery stores? I would like to buy a box to vacuum my carpeting with, this will apparantly kill them and make them not want to live in the carpeting. I really wish I had hardwood flooring.
