Head and Shoulders has a 2 in 1 shampoo product that is great to use because it contains pyrithruim 1% which is a compound of sulfur, this stuff helps alot to use, use a little bit within a bath or luffah youself with some in the shower 2 times a day. This dramatically helps with the itching sensation and can likely prevent them to reinfest you. Get the mint flavoured one it is the best. This is something that helped me in post scabies!

There is also some other sulfur coumpound that is supposed to help with scabies, I think it mite be call MSM pills or powder, they contain sulfur, you could also get sulfur powder and have a cream created, but I think for this you need to have a pharmacy mix it so it penetrates your skin, I am not sure if all pharmacies do this.

Thanks! this does help with stopping itching, well enough to help you concentrate to do other things. Does anyone know what that pyrthrione zinc is exactly? Is it kinda like sulfur but different? I know that the pyrthrione zinc isnt killing the scabies but it is completely easing the itching.

I beleive this would help subside the itch, its a shampoo used to prevent or get rid of lice I beleive. Though it mite burn your scalp if you always have it on your head daily, just a thought.

Try using selsun blu for your scalp area, it has 2.5% sulfur which is not enough to kill scabies but it will definetely prevent them from living in your scalp area if you use it daily, only problem is it is quite expensive like 15$ for a small bottle, I would rather spend that 15$ on sulfur creams or soaps but if you have the money I would def buy this instead of head n shoulders. Though head n shoulders would be my second pick as it contains some kind of ingredient that is great for itchy scalp. The selsun blu also helps with skin infections and stuff I recall.

Sorry, I didn't see the post above where someone said head n shoulders containers pyrthrione zinc which is the ingredient that helps reduce itching in the scalp. Neither selsun blu or head n shouldldes will kill scabies though...
