I was diagnosed with scabies by the doc today, she simply took one look and new. She told me she had it before and so has her daughter so she knew rite away. So I bought the premethrin cream which I am going to put on tonight. I'm going to retreat from my home and stay home for about 8 days so that im cured first, but I have some questions. I have clothes that are in the hot wash now with Borax and some Bleach added, I am going to use latex gloves during the laundry. My question is, should I be concerned with things like my laptop or instruments? What about my car, should I bleach it or something?

Before you retreat make sure you have a good game plan ready, start cleaning vigourusly days before you retreat and bag everything up and start washing things, you are going to want to do this after you retreat your scabies also for a good week or longer! Whatever you do if you are pregnant or have a daughter do not use permethrin, I would refrain from using it period as it is known to cause neurological disorders and even cancer. This is the reason why they banned Lindane also, Lindane actually killed people. I know this because I got scabies years ago and my mother looked into it.
