Is there some kind of oil scabies treatment? Is neem oil or neem leaf oil or tea tree oil going to kill scabies? I have also heard people bring up lavendar oil and epsom salts. Does anyone know if these oils will be a oil scabies treatment to use? I am very paranoid about using permethrin creams on my body, my drugstore only offers kwellada p and it contains permethrin and i am very worried about using this.
thanx

Some people claim neem oil and tea tree oil are scabies killers, from my own tests I can assure you that those two oils are far from that, tea tree oil will make you think your killing them because it will nullify the itching, tea tree oil was proven as a scabies killer by austrailian scientists but they never revealed any protocol for use to treat scabies so basically since the tea tree oil only comes from austrailia it is some kind of ploy to get people to buy it, this is why tea tree oil is touted as cure all kinda thing. Tea tree oil is certainly good for the skin as it is a antiseptic and antibacterial properties, but it is far from a scabies killer, by trying to use it to kill scabies you are only setting yourself up for a setback and even longer scabies treatment process. Yes there are ways to treat naturally, and yes they are safer than many alternatives offered! But tea tree oil is not a scabies cure and has been proven.

I know that taking a bath with lavendar oil at night will help you get some rest which is will give you more peace of mind, you can also use like 7 drops of tea tree oil in baths to help your skin heal as it has antibacterial and antifungal properties. These two oils are great for post scabies and bringing your skin back to life, the lavendar oil smells great and the tea tree oil does not smell good at all.

Neem oil has been reported in some cases to kill scabies, all in all I do think neem oil is very beneficial for your skin and worth a shot. I would also suggest you use lots of aloe during post scabies to put the moisture back into your skin, your skin needs moisture to repair itself.
