Something a friend brought to my attention was that you can buy clearasil from any pharmacy that has a 8% sulfur mix with restinol (skin conditioner). The product is called Clearasil skin tone and is even sold in groceries stores, this stuff is great to spot treat after scabies, i put it on any spot coming up thats red or spot that itches considerabley. This stuff isnt cheap , it is about 8$ for a little tube, so its only good for spot treating and the sulfur is 8% instead of 10-12%. Great for spot treating and clearing blemish type marks.

I have used this stuff for regular acne, I must say dont wear any good clothing with it on as it can ruin your clothing colour!

Good luck using this to cure scabies, the stuff is like 8$ a tube, it would like cost you 20 000 dollars to cure your scabies with this stuff. I would imagine its good for spot treating though but not a full scabies cure.

I agree, you need to make your own compounded sulfur mixture which is way cheaper. Ask your pharmacist if he can use percipitated sulfur to create a mixture. If you were to use sulfur in the form of clearasil skin tone you would spend thousands of dollars and who knows if it is even strong enough or mixed properly to even penetrate and kill the scabies. Scabies burrow in the skin so you need a mixture that will penetrate enough to kill them.

This would just be the stupidest idea ever, those clearasil tubes have like what 18 grams of cream, you would basically need like over 400 tubes at like what 8$ a peice, and this would not even guarantee a scabies kill because the sulfur in it is only 8% and mixed with 2% resorcinol, who knows what the resorcinol does, i know other scabies mixtures they cut the sulfur with something that will penetrate the skins surface. Likely the clearasil skin tone cream is only good for acne and not killing scabies, I would certainly use it on post scabies spots, but do not try and cure your scabies with it as you will likely waste a ton of money and get nowhere.

The clearasil sulfur creams will not work as they are meant for acne and not scabies. They only contain 6% sulfur and scabies sulfur is usually 10% or higher. Stick to buying the dermisil scabies sulfur.
