Im assuming the itches that feel like fluttering are still live scabies and the itching that just feels like normal itching is just allergic reactions to the mites and their debrie under the skin? This fluttering itching is the most horrible and irritating thing ever, I just want to drown these things in gas, but I know gas is bad for your skin so I will be patient and do the best at removing them without intoxicating my skin and body. Grrr .

Correct! You will be able to determine the fluttering type itch from just a regular itch. Typically they feel like they momentarily are drilling on you, it is very annoying and very distinguishable. This is the sign between having scabies and post scabies, this is also assuming your not all drugged up on claritan or any allergy stuff as you wont be able to tell.

Yeah the scabies fluttering is a sure sign your still infected, I kept on getting them back on my feet as my skin was really thick there. If your just getting normal itching during the day this is not scabies, it could be post scabies but definetely not scabies. The tell tale signs are the pin prick/fluttering itching in the evening. Scabies mites are the most active during the evening when they are feeding on you.

Yup you have scabies again! Tell your doctor you are getting them on your head and explain to him the fluttering feeling. Or you can treat your body with the 5% permethrin for scabies and treat your scalp the next 5days with the 1% permethrin which is meant for lice. this should get rid of your scabies on your whole body.

I have a hard time figuring out the fluttering from the itching, during the day time I have some pretty weird itching, during the night time it gets really intense but feels the same as it does in the day time? So how can i determine what is what? This scabies is really annoying.

you will know if you have scabies, the itching is like a living bug on you, it is terrible. You will just feel overall discomfortable

Yeah that fluttering itching stuff drives me completely nuts, to the point I just want to put bleach on those areas, I am spot treating with sulfur though in post scabies just to try and insure no reinfection and help some of the sscabies spots heal up faster, it seems to be working slowly.

So there is no fluttering in post scabies? Because I still itch alot and notice a build up of skin around my elbows in which there are like watery blisters. Is this sound like post scabies or is it still scabies ?

By fluttering you mean like itching thta feels like biting? Is it more around the night time ?
