Bedbugs are simply a species of pests. The most common type of bedbugs, cimex lectularius, is commonly found in temperate climates all across the globe. In addition, Leptocimex boueti, is found in tropical climates of West Africa and South America. As a matter of fact, bedbugs are insects but they are often misconceived as Arachnids like dust mites and ticks. Bedbugs are blood sucking creatures, which belong to the family called Cimicidae. They majorly feed on human beings or other warm blooded animals.

Since these creatures were majorly found from sleeping places of humans, they were referred to as “bed bugs”. They are not really nocturnal, but they prefer to attack at night, when the hosts are inactive. Their sucking teeth would release some anaesthetics into the body and hence the host would not feel the bite. The adult bedbugs are reddish-brown, oval shaped and wingless. The young bugs are transparent in colour and hence cannot be spotted immediately. However their colour changes as they mature. They utilise kairomones in order to communicate with each other and would use pheromones to identify different hiding locations.

Cimex Lectularius are the most common kinds of bedbugs and would easily adapt to the humanly conditions. They enjoy tropical climates. These creatures use dual hollow tubes to suck the blood out of the victim. At the same time as one of these tubes would suck the blood, the other tube would inject anaesthetic-rich and anticoagulant saliva. The sucking time is about five minutes long and these bugs would return to their hiding place thereafter.

The easiest way to kill Bed Bugs is to use the proper treatments that actually work, I realize this is a problem that requires urgent attention so if you want to get rid of your bed bugs visit: http://www.BugBedTreatment.com
