Will bathing in vinegar kill scabies? I have heard reducing the ph levels in your skin will force them off. So would using a white vinegar to bath in for hours kill off these guys ? If not is there any other home remedies you can use if your not willing to put dangerous pesticides and chemicals on your body ???

Yeah this is pretty silly, never use bleach or things like vinegar because they certainly do screw up your skins PH levels which is very important to prottecting yourself from secondary infections which can be even worse then the scabies infection itself. Never mess with stuff like this!

Actually this wouldnt be that bad to test out, as I am aware is that your skin has to be a certain condition for scabies to live and I know that the ph levels are a huge thing that scabies dwell on. Someone should look further into like a 4 hour bath at night in vinegar. This could be a scabies killer.

I doubt this will work, I mean scabies tend to burrow pretty deep in your skin layer. Youo would have to likely sit in it for 48 hours for something liek that to work and who knows what will happen to your skin. Go to your doctor to treat scabies.

This will not work! It is not like being sprayed by a skunk. It is likely way more annoying than being sprayed by a skunk but not as smelly. You need to be using eitehr sulfur or permethrin to treat scabies.

Vinegar will not work! There are home natural cures that will work. I found this article pretty interesting, it outlines all the ways people are killing scabies and outlines why you shouldn't chose the methods. Bathing in vinegar will not kill scabies! It will probably just damage your skin or the PH levels in your skin and make it easier for them to live on you. So basically it would probably do the opposite of what you are trying to do. In no way will vinegar kill scabies...

bathing in vinegar will not do anything as scabies mites are very strong and can live through alot of things including bleach.

I suggest bathing with epsom salts and showering with sulfur soaps, the epsom salts within a warm bath can be enough to suffocate some scabies mites near the surface or even kill scabies eggs. The sulfur soap can also help your skin beat scabies as you can use it in the shower and also apply the creams to your body both during the day and at night. Here is a link: Scabies Sulfur creams and soapsHope this helpsP.S - You can buy 2-4kg bags of epsom salts at any pharmacy or drug store within the isles.
