All those people who have been affected with scabies or chiggers know that both these conditions would be extremely painful to the sufferer and would take a long time to treat them. However, not many people know the difference between these two conditions. Scabies and chiggers are two dissimilar kinds of mites and they would attack humans in a different manner.

Chiggers are red, small creatures, which measure about 1/8 of an inch. On the other hand, scabies mites are difficult to watch with a naked eye. Also, the scabies mites are about 1/60 of an inch in length. Once you know how they look like, you must then understand where they come from. Chiggers live in tall weeds, shrubs, grass, as well as other vegetation. These creatures would attack all those humans who usually venture in. on the other hand, scabies is infectious in nature and would pass on from one human being to another while coming into direct or indirect contact with the mites.

Both, the scabies mites as well as the chiggers feed on human fluids and blood. The infestation would begin as soon as the female mite burrows herself into the deeper layers of the skin. Conversely, the chiggers most attack through their larvae and they would often feed on the surface of the skin. You would find the chigger bites about 4-6 hours after these creatures have bit the host. A few people would develop allergic reactions immediately. Chiggers could usually be prevented by not entering the infested areas or also by using an insect repellent.

There are numerous different ways to kill scabies naturally instead of using dangerous chemicals such as permethrin. If your looking to kill your scabies with 3 items from your grocery store within 24 hours you should visit --> http://ScabiesHomeTreatment.com
