Has anyone had trouble getting rid of scabies from thier scalp, it seems that is the only place I am having problems getting rid of them. I beleive my pillow was the source of reinfection a couple times and this time I have it in plastic. So what would you suggest I use to treat the scalp and face area.

Thanks

Refer to the scabies solutions section there is a post on Dermisil that will help you. In fact here is the thread for you:

Be sure to use as directed in that post, I am sure you should just get some of the sulfur soap bars to treat on your face and scalp area

This shiould help you and you should be okay!

Thanks! The sulfur soap did infact work and I no longer have any itching or anything on the scalp. This was a life saver because not even the permethrin worked applied to my scalp, which is a scary thing to know. Anyways this forum has been alot of help.

Thanks guys!

I find leaving noxxemma on my face and scalp for awhile seems to make them not wanna live on my face or neck. Maybe they dont like the euculuptus cooling affect, or it could just make them not itch. It has been working for me though.

Try using vinegar on the scalp as I heard this used to work to combat lice as it screws up the skins PH levels and makes it unliveable for them. I am not sure why this only works on the scalp but I think scabies doesn't really infest above the neck unless it is a more severe case of scabies. At any rate it is something you can try out as it probably won't do any harm. You could also try tea tree oil but that stuff is really smelly and actually hurts on the skin, I would dilute it first.
