I just wanted to say to everyone on this forum, that you aren't alone. If you are infected and the people in your life arent. Im sure you feel like they dont understand. I just want you to know that there is people out here that understand the kind of hell you are going through. Be strong, I know this sucks. I know that everyday you just wish that it would go away and that your life would just be normal again. We are all fighting the same battle against these microscopic invaders. Keep your head up!

So I see there is alot of what to do's but here is all ive gathered: (if i miss something let me know)

Get everything you can covered by plastic (furniture, bed mattresses, etc)

Bleach wash your floors and if they are carpet use borox or D.E.. Make sure you clean your floors more then once a day and wear shoes dont go barefoot.

Put most of your clothes in plastic sealed containers and leave a week worth of clothes out. wash all clothes in boiling water with borox, dry in high heat. if you are going to wear something put on latex gloves throw into the dryer on high heat for 15 minutes. you might want to steam iron them just in case. dont use the same gloves for everything.

Keep cleaning, as much as you can. these things can get on anything. get clorox bleach wipes they make things a bit easier. i heard enzyme sprays also help when doing a bleach down of the home.

You can also put stuff into the freezer and leave it there for a few days and it should also help to kill off the scabies on those items.

Buy sulfur products, ex. dermasil with the soap and follow the regime. This seems to be the most effective and safest out of the treatments.

Epson salt is your friend, pour some in your tub and take a bath. it will help your skin.

Buy a loofah for when you use the sulfur products, these scabies build up some kind of layer and you want to reach them.

Take benadryl at night to help the itching feeling

DONT ITCH, cut your nails short. when cleaning make sure you get under all of your nails.

Sanitize, Sanitize, Sanitize. Act like your home is a hospital. the expression cleanliness is next to godliness is not off in this scenario.

Clean everything you touch, even your car, work, everything you have to be careful

Keep yourself healthy, cut out the sugar and anything else that can bring your immune system down.

Dont bring ppl over until your sure they are gone. you dont want to infect them or yourself again. make sure your family is on the treatment whether they have scabies or not.

Eat things that boost your immune system, fruits, garlic, vegetables, etc.

Remember this is alot but it is necessary. take care.

Very good regiment! IT sounds like you have a gameplan together that is going to work! This is the same kinda idea I had going into my scabies treatments and it eventually worked. The first couple times I treated I kept on getting reinfested by my environment I think. I never liked using the Benadryl though as I could not tell my progress as I based my progress on the night time itching scabies is famous for. "Eat things that boost your immune system, fruits, garlic, vegetables, etc.
" this was one of the things I did also was cleaned up my diet and that helped alot too I think.

Great Scabies Tips!
