It may take longer if you were misdiagnosed or had scabies for longer then usual, in my experience the longer you had scabies the more of a toxic layer is built up which protects the scabies and their eggs. In my cases certain areas like my groin area, knee area, elbow area, feet and hands were the toughest spots as they seemed to have built up some kind of layer of thicker skin. My advice would be to keep using the creams and lotions as they will eventually kill the scabies and their eggs. Also keep in mind that post scabies also itches because your skin is allergic to the dead mites and their fecael matter which is under the skin, so I would suggest using a loofah in the shower with your sulfur soap and work it in circular motions which will help surface the mites and their debris. Let's say you had scabies for 4 months prior to be diagnosed or treatment start, it would take approximately 4 months of treatment followed by a potential period of 4 months for post scabies. They don't call it the 7 year itch for nothing as it can be rather deceiving, you want to make sure the itching your feeling is scabies and not post scabies, you should also continue to use the sulfur products during post scabies to help heal your skin and preven reinfestations.
Just my experience
God Bless

Yes you should be applying it to your full body, but especially during the evening and overnight hours as this is when the mites are most active. But it is suggested you do full body treatments for 4-6 days for the entire day and night for more severe cases of scabies. If you have a more severe case of scabies you will notice the layer of skin as it is thicker than your regular skin in places where the infestations were present. Pay particular attention to these places and places such as skin folds, knees, elbows, fingers and feet. You are likely getting reinfested from something within your environment, remember that you have to keep cleaning nonstop as scabies get dislodged with skin falling off and can live in your environment for up to 5 days, I would suggest getting some of the dust to kill the scabies mites in your place. Or if you can not afford the dust than make sure you whip everything down with bleach day and evening to ensure your not picking it up again.

The Naturasil sulfur family pack worked very well for me and my daughter. If you got your sulfur from walmart it may not be the correct sublimed sulfur they put in scabies sulfur creams. I know some only have 6%. Or you could just be applying it incorrectly and missing places. At any rate if your using the sulfur correctly your scabies will be gone as it is the best treatment for scabies. Here is the site to get the sulfur creams: Scabies Sulfur Family Pack and Scabies CreamsGood LuckP.S - Spot treat lightly during the days on more problematic areas and do full body treatments during the evening hours and overnight!
