As with any animal, bed bugs do have their favorite places to live. With the ability to survive anywhere in the world, bed bugs living preferences can be particular, even within the two main species of them.

The Cimex Lectularius, which is the common type of bed bug that most people are familiar with, and the Cimex Hemipterus, which is also called a tropical bed bug, due to its favorite living preference in the world, are the two main types that people will most likely run into.

Simply stated, the Lectularius likes it cool, so you will find them in the northern hemispheres, in North America, Asia and throughout Europe, for instance. The Hemipterus, as mentioned, likes to live in the tropic zones of the world, in Asia and North and South America where it is warmer, and in Asia. In the US, you'll only see the Hemipterus in Florida.

Keep in mind that living in any of these regions of the world doesn't automatically place bed bugs in your home. Through preventive measures you can keep them away from your own living preferences.

The opposite is also true. If you don't live where bed bugs prefer to live, you aren't immune to an infestation. There are ways for bed bugs to be introduced into a nontraditional environment.

Let's say you and your family head to Orlando for a great vacation. The chance of bed bugs hitching a ride home with you in your luggage or clothing is great. Bed bugs don't need to feed right away, or even often, so they can make it all the way to your home and settle in before you'd even know they were there.

The important thing to realize is that bed bugs can go from one place to the other, and you wouldn't even know. It is so flat and so small that any crack or crevice can hide it, as well as folds of clothing and suitcases.

So, the tropical variety can move out of Florida, as long as the new place is warm enough, and tropical enough. So don't be complacent in watching out for bed bugs, no matter where your preference to live is.

The easiest way to kill Bed Bugs is to use the proper treatments that actually work, I realize this is a problem that requires urgent attention so if you want to get rid of your bed bugs visit: http://www.BugBedTreatment.com
