Hello, a week ago on my inner arm appeared few red spots, that looked like flea bite marks. Then two days later they appeared on my stomach, then neck and later on my breasts and some on legs. But these red marks never itched, they are not watery just dry, there is no spots or marks on my hands. I went to see my doctor and she said it's scabies and prescribed me permethrin cream. I started this scabies treatment, but I just can't understand why there is no itch. Could it be wrong diagnosis? I'm so confused. Hope someone could help me.

Sounds like you diagnosed it quickly as some people never know they have scabies till weeks later when the itching part comes into play. Within the first few weeks you may just see red pin prick dots that appear in groupings, they are actually hard to notice if you are not looking for them. The itching will likely start soon enough though as your skin becomes allergic to the dead scabies mites and their debris that lays under the skin. Hope this helps.

Yeah if you feel no itching but suspect you have scabies it may be too early to detect them as the itching will start a few weeks later when the skin starts becoming allergic to the scabies mites and their fecal matter under the skin, at this point you will get these warm itching sensations followed by intense itching at night. This is when you know you have scabies and start treatment immediately or it will just get worse!

The itching from scabies may not show up or a few weeks as the allergies come about and the more damage the scabies has done to your skin the worse and worse it gets.

It is likely you diagnosed yourself with scabies early as the itching has not started yet but trust me within a week or so the scabies itching will be unbearable and keep you up at night. When I had scabies I started seeing little pimple like rashes and dry skin, I thought it was just exzema until I started itching. With scabies you want to start treating as soon as possible or it is just harder and takes longer to get rid of.

Lots of people mistake scabies for exzema or just a regular rash until a few weeks later when the skin becomes allergic to the scabies and the damage then you start itching like crazy especially at night time. I did anyways...

You should start doing scabies treatments then because the faster you treat the less likelyhood of reinfection and the easier it will be to treat. Most people don't typically start scabies treatments until their going crazy from itching and rashes so it sounds like you caught on to scabies early which is good!
