I've posted in here before... Many different treatments, everything covered in plastic or bleach- no way a reinfections from house/car could occur :) I was still paranoid and itchy, kid had clear lumps. Dermatologist diagnosed ecxma on 9 year old (her hands cleared up very quickly using cortisone. Derm said I had post scabiesitch, and it could last for couple of months. Has been 3 weeks since I last treated. Hands have almost constant pins and needles. Body itch comes and goes- tonight is the first time postscabies that I've noticed it at night, normally no probs. I think itch tonight is becaus I'm worried, or related to below-
Tonight felt sting on arm and flat red circle about size of a 5c piece appeared. 3 hours later I noticed 2 spots and 2 lines. The lines are straight (one does taper to a point) and about 3 cm long. They do not itch AT ALL- just sting. Not really raised (look flat, can only feel slight raise when running finger over them)
I keep thinking there's no way I've been reinfected.... But could I have developed a aensititvity to other irritants? Does this sound like scabies at all (looks different to what I or 9 year old showed. She has had nothing since diag of excma.
I am going insane. She also has anxiety issues, which has developed into full blown OCD, and is causing her an immense amount of stress... I've been attempting to minimize it by relaxing her and relaxing
Me on the washing/bleach regime lol
I have pics of these recent welts, but don't know how to upload them.
We really need help. It's now 3 in the morning. I've spent the last hour crying, thinking about how we are going to manage a reinfestation. I'm not even thinking about how I'm going to go at work tomorrow. Please help.

God, just read through and saw all the spelling and grammar errors! Eczema, dammit! Also want to mention we were treating for scabies for over 4 months. Derm says we probably got rid of them befor then, but I kept treating everyone.
I have no burrows, no dry bumps on fingers or anything, just these red spots and straight lines on my forearm.

It could be a post scabies condition, typically scabies makes the skin very sensitive and a lot of times you can pick up secondary skin infections or even small staph infections. I would just suggest showing with sulfur soaps to see if you see any results within a week or two. Active scabies will itch more during the evening hours and tend to give you scaley skin in the places their more apparant.

The best thing for post scabies is sulfur soaps and using cocoa butter! That is all you will need but if you want to buy something else epsom salts are great to take baths in and are cheap!
