Scabies can infect an individual upon having direct skin to skin contact with a victim of the disease. All the preventive measures are basically a review of this kind of behavior. The best way to handle the problem of scabies is to try as much as possible to stick to the measures that are aimed at avoiding the infection. But in case this fails to work, you can take your time to make thorough use of other means of correcting the situation as soon as possible. But since the best solution is always in the preventive remedies, here are some useful steps you can take:

-If you are in a crowded place; make your way out by leaving enough space with the crowd

-Avoid games that would force you to be in contact with the infected person directly

-If your spouse is infected, avoid sexual intercourse until the full recovery has been achieved

-When you are in an area that is under the attack of this disease, avoid indiscriminate hand shaking

-Avoid sharing clothes with an infected person

By ensuring that the patient takes the medication correctly, you are also preventing any further spread of the infection. Otherwise scabies can be so contagious that within a short time you can find that the whole family has gotten received the trouble.

In the meantime there, are cases when you could suspect that you have had contact with an infected person. What could you do in such a case? Would you go back to the person and sort them out for the exposure they have given you? Since the germ that causes scabies does not like dwelling in certain regions, you can make sure that you visit your physician for the best way forward before the symptomatic phase comes. Otherwise, you have between two and six weeks before the trouble is set. Take no chances; stay away from areas that have been declared to be under an outbreak of scabies. If you have to interact with an infected person, a verbal greeting is enough. Limit all the other methods of showing affection.
