I believe I have sabies. The rash basically looks exactly like scabies. HOWEVER...
1. I have absolutely no itching whatsoever, anywhere on my body at any given time. 2. My scabies are in NONE of the traditional spots: hands, ankles, knees, waistline, inside of wrists, inside of elbows, webs of fingers, crotch. 3. They are located: on the inner side of my forearms (more on my right arm then my left), and in my pelvic area 4. I was told 2 years ago by my nurse in Detroit who did a scrape test on me that I had mite eggs; she never saw the mite, just what appeared to be eggs. 5. My rash from two years ago looks percisely like the rash I have now, and it's in the same precise locations. I have no immune system disfuctions.
Seriously, is this even possible with scabies. I was honestly skeptical then, and I am skeptical now. Back then I used sulfur soap and perm. to get rid of them.
Now I am using only sulfur soap and lavender oil; and I know just about every single natural remedy possible for scabies, even the rarely spoken of herb, "triphala."
In all honesty, I want to believe I have scabies...but in reality...does anyone actually know if I truly have this from what I've reported above. I've checked everything from eczema to bird mites.
I have had no prolonged contact with anyone in months, and I live by myself. So, in all honesty, I'm just pretty freakin' confused.
The second time around, I"m supposed to get it in only a few days, I have had NO contact with anyone in the past few days. I will provide photos if necessary.

Maybe you have rat or bird mites, they are a bit different from scabies and require more intense treatments with sulfur, I am pretty sure permethrin will not kill them. Did you have any bird nests or rats living in your place? Perhaps a dead animal within the house or walls? This would be a sign of a possible bird or rat mite infestation. Scabies typically can be killed within a week or so of sulfur treatments as they stop the mites life cycle, maybe you keep on getting reinfected from your environment, I have heard of dormant scabies but in rare cases.

Thanks for your input, and I will research it. I should mention...when I got rid of them in Detroit, everything was fine. I now live in Hollywood, with completely different clothes and brand new furniture. So....*sghs* Oh well. I probably shouldn't be compalining since I'm not itching at all.

OH I'm sorry for not answering your other questions.
No, there are no bird nests (especially nothing with rodents) near my apartment, or neighbors' apartments, and I've talked to my apartment manager about the cleanliness of these apartments, and everything checks out fine.
The best I can offer is this: there are two cats that wonder around our apartments (though they may be a neighbors).
I never touch these cats, and I am not allergic to cats, as I have had many cats as pets back home in Dallas, TX.
I'm guessing I'm just super asymptomatic. HAHA...maybe I have a new form of scabies that are immortal. Sorry, I try to take this lightly as I can.

It could be bird or rat mites maybe? They are alot more difficult to treat but can be treated using scabies treatments but it make take a more vigorous treatment.
