Ok so I did 2 treatments, sadly 2 weeks apart... But! after the second one (Monday) I got dermisil soap. (aso went through all the precautions, changed sheeets and put everything else in bags and disinfecting other stuff) Got it saturday and barely was in the door before I was in the shower. I've been using it once a day since then (4 days) i noticed the first night I could sleep again. My skins drying fast and making me itch bad but I know it's just drying and hopefully post scabies because it isn't keeping me up at night. I'm going to keep using this soap until I run out of it just to be sure.
So I need an opinon. Am I in post scabies? THese little things were/are driving me crazy and im ready to be rid of them.
Thanks!

You should wait about a week and then you can determine if you are still infected by new patches of lessions or intense itching during the evening hours. The safe thing to do would to be ton continue spot treating for a week or two afterwards depending on how long you had them. The post scabies does itch but it is the normal type of itching that is associated with allergies your skin will have to the dead mites and their debris. If after a week or two you continue to have the twitchy type itches and you notice new lessions then you should do another round of treatment.
Hope this helps!

So keep basicly keep using the soap and look for new bumps? My hope is that I killed all the living ones and am getting rid of all the eggs and debris with the Dermisil

Yes, keep monitoring your skin for new signs of scabies outbreaks and continue using the Dermisil and exfoliating your skin this will help work out any dead mites and their debris which ultimately makes your skin itchy. It also helps to rub your skin in circular motions as this brings up debris quicker in trouble areas, try using a carrier like a liquid baby oil this will help even more. Scabies can be pretty tough at times because they dig in so well and can be pretty resistant as you have to kill the life cycle of the mites which includes killing the eggs which are sometimes missed by permethrin, suflur is the treatment of choice as it is the most effective.
