Crusted scabies are more commonly called Norwegian scabies. This is a form of scabies that develops an intense level of infections involving the same parasite that brings about a regular scabies infestation. Norwegian scabies starts out exactly like normal scabies, with the same infectious parasitic actions and first stages of development. Where the road of development forks and Norwegian scabies goes off on its own path is if regular scabies is left unchecked to the point where the infection travels all through the body.

This unregulated condition is usually the result of a person not having a strong immune system, such as those with AIDS, those who have gotten on in years, and those under chemo treatments because of cancer. Each of these people, if they become infected with a scabies mite, will most likely end up suffering from Norwegian scabies if they don't get treatment for the initial infection as soon as they can. To illustrate the extent to which the major difference between standard and crusted scabies is most prominent, the standard sufferer hosts anywhere from several dozen to hundreds of scabies mites, but the crusted scabies sufferer will host from several tens to several hundreds of thousands of the microscopic parasite.

Because a crusted infection can spread throughout the body, the host might fall victim to skin that looks terrible, as if they were suffering from psoriasis. What can happen is the infected area will get thick with what looks like a scab, and this can easily be torn open if the sufferer likes to scratch the infection. These open wounds also pave the way for more infections, including staph infection.

Because the crusted scabies isn't mild in nature, the cure for the infection follows the standard scabies treatment, such as topical creams and similar medications, but takes on the additional steps of using an oral medication, like pills for counteracting parasites. An example of this kind of pill that is most often prescribed to crusted scabies patients is Ivermectin.

Those who fall victim to the crusted scabies infection need to take extra care in preventing any type of further infection. This includes completely washing any bed linens not just once but several times, and often. Same goes for the clothing that is worn by the patient. Anyone who hangs around a patient should wash their hands completely as well, each time contact is made with the sufferer. If an individual who is completely healthy ends up with scabies from a patient who is infected with the harsher scabies condition, will most likely just need to be treated for the lesser scabies infection and not the more aggressive crusted cousin.

There are numerous different ways to kill scabies from home, but why not kill them with something that is 100% effective and quick instead of retreating and wasting months of your life. Kill your scabies within 24 hours, Visit http://www.ScabiesHomeTreatment.com

In a normal case of scabies you may only have 7-15 active mites. So I would doubt anyone has crusted scabies unless they have a comprimised immune system or health problems.

Crusted scabies usually happens in older people or people with comprimised immune systems. Usually this happens alot in hospital settings in wards with older people.

If you have crust scabies or regular scabies you are going to want to use sulfur scabies treatments as they actually penetrate the skin and kill the mite. Many other creams and lotions do not penetrate the skin well which leaves the scabies eggs to survive and hatch which ultimately keeps you from ridding of them. I highly suggest you get some Naturasil scabies creams and sulfur soaps as they are effective in killing both scabies and their eggs.

You guys can also use NAT15 for a 15% off discount as I got it from a coupon site.

Hope this helps!

I had a high risk encounter slightly over a month ago and am worried about being infected with HIV. I have severe allergies and other health issues anyway so any symptoms I normally have are now freaking me the fuck out.

recently I noticed the itch and think I might have scabies even though this is not abnormal for me and has mostly gone away. pretty sure I have them though as the tracks and other symptoms are present.

my hands normally sometimes get dry and scaly which is happening right now but I am very worried about crusted scabies being an indicator for hiv. I just stumbled across this forum and thought id post. not sure if ill get any useful replies, thanks for reading thouh.
