I have found that taking too much baths or soaking is not good for helping your skin repair itself after scabies during post scabies. It seems your skin becomes more succeptable to secondary skin infections and strange acne type stuff. I think if you are bathing anymore then 30minutes a day you are probably helping the scabies survive better because it is damaging your skin possibly. This is just my findings after bathing twice a day for a couple months. I would also use moistureizer creams and baby oils very lightly because if you use too much you clog your pores and it makes things way worse. You wanna be applying very light layers of this stuff to allow your skin to breathe and heal during scabies and post scabies.

Just my thoughts

Use epsom salts as they work great! they are about 4$ per 2kg bag which is enough for about 4-5 baths at one cup per bath! Make the best use of them and have extra long baths maybe! These things are great and help heal the skin and relax you enough to get some rest!

Yes overbathing is not good as it can ruin your top layer of skin which protects your skin. I would suggest at most bath two times a day for 30minute periods with epsom salts. The night time would be the best time to bath because it would help reduce the scabies itching and allow you to get some sleep.
