Is there any specific place where you contact scabies, I actually where people get infected scabies, When do you actually notice the first trace of the scabies and the itch. It started with a rash which I thought was due to the allergic reaction of the hair dye. After some time after visiting many dermatologists, I just realized it as scabies.

I got infected form my boyfriend actually.First I had not realized after the itching was terrible like no other itch before I knew something was wrong, I just told my boyfriend that he had given me something special, I was so mad... when he admitted that he had scabies he knew he had this, but never told me... and he even had the lotion but never applied.. it was just so wrong, we aren't together anymore,I just have no social life

You should try ivermectin. I have to say that I think I am going to beat this. I took ivermectin on Friday and I will take another dosage on Friday again. You can get rid of it too. I know it.

The infection started out with the hands , it was itching very badly, there is a mite oil for cat or dog ears. it comes in a pkg with 3 little tubes and its suppposed to kill mites on contact. Its only about 4 bucks. Also I found this allergen spray for dust mites. It's a spray and it has bb in it. so, it's cool.

I have been covered with the scabies in most of stomache, and now thighs and part of calves(inside). I really need some iverm, but have almost sworn off docs. I have had this for 5 months now. I didn’t realize actually that what I had was scabies until actually my dermatologist confirmed.

Scabies when infected and when it covers the various parts of the body looks horrible.

Scabies should be easy to handle if diagonised in the very beginning itself,
This ivermectin is expensive though. I picked up my last refill, my doctor gave me 2.

May be you can just give low income clinic a try.They are used to treating scabies and many give you some refills on ivermectin. ask for refills on permethrin 5% cream, too. You can do a research for sulphur on this forum.

ivermectin has cured some people here. so, maybe the sulfur and iver will help you. yeah, i got sick from permethrin.

I got scabies form my girlfriend she started with a rash that we though was an ellergic reaction to a flea shampoo we used on our cat after the little bastard jumped out out window and spent his very first night outdoors.

I got scabies from my little 13 year old nephew, and I imagine he picked them up somehwere at school or playing outside. So yeah they can come from alot of places, I am pretty sure scabies is very common and millions have it daily.

Yeah my infection was first noticed on the fingers on the insides. I went to see a doctor and he asked what I did for at work and I said I cut vegetables and he said well if your cutting tomatoes the citrus will do this, and I said I was cutting tomatoes all day. So I was misdiagnosed for 3 months until I started feeeling heavy itching so I knew it was not from tomatoes or vegetables.

I thought I had mosquito bites because I was landscaping the backyard and I got a truckload of mulch and dirt. Then the derm thought I got poison ivy from the mulch except I didn't have a rash but it looked like bugs bites.
So far the permerthin doesn't make me sick. I have tried to use it almost every 4 days. I know I am going to make these buggers resistant. I think I am going to ask for the oral Ivem. and be done with this. I have 3 kids under 4 and I don't want them to get it.
I am wondering how did I get it. I don't remember any close contacts at all.. but I who knows. I am just pissed off that I got it and not one else did.
I am going to try to increase my imune system and take double Vit C and B complex 100.
Cleaning it seems like it is the only route to go to keep on top of changing the sheet, vaccum, and I put all the dirty clothes in a garage bag until I am ready to put it in the washer.
I have been sprinkle borax underneath the mattress pad and on the carpets and then vaccum them up.
I know really hot showers make me feel so much better..
Placing a moist washcloth in the microwave and putting this on seems to get rid of the itch.
Putting 70% alcohol with a cotton pad and wiping up and down seems to make it feel better and gets rid of the itch.
RAID for ant killer has the same permerthin in it. I use it to spray my shoes, mattress, carpets, couch, leather couch, inside the cars all over. It is suppose to kill them.

It seems many people have no success with permethrin and it makes them resistand and even stronger which is bad as the strain is then even harder to kill off. I was misdiagnosed with exzemma prior to knowing i had scabies so I took me even longer to start treatment. I finally got rid of them using the Dermisil as recommended on: http://scabieshelpnow.com/helpforum/yaf_postst422_This-really-Works-for-Scabies.aspxAnyways it sounds like you have a plan which is good as it takes a war against them, I would suggest also getting some super garlic pills as they fight parasites from the inside and promote good immune health plus I heard scabies do not like alicin or the garlic ingredient. As far as getting rid of the itch try the sulfur soaps daily and you can also take antihistamines off and on cause you don't wanna completely mask the itching so you can tell if your getting better or not. Also wondering where you got scabies from will do you no good, I tried this for months going over the possible people or places I could of gotten it and it drove me crazy. I wouldn't worry about it casue you could of gotten it from a door handle or something you touched as scabies is easily transferable as they can live off the human host for up to 5 days.

In most cases scabies comes from long contact with an infected person such as hugging or cuddling or even from their bedding, couches stuff like this. But you could tell signs of people you may have been with if they have lessions or constantly scratching is a good sign that someone has scabies.
