So during the last few nights after applying that permethrin 5% cream I have been having these flashes where i feel like im almost going to collapse or like im being zapped with some ray thats making me weak all of a sudden. The itchiness has subsided but been replaced with a illness that makes me almost want to faint at times. Im thinking that this has to do with the permethrin creams chemicals ? Shojuld I be concerned or just wait a couple more days and see if i start feeling better. It is very weird becuase i feel very ill during the day but am actually getting more sleep at night ill hten I would have days before treatment.

The permethrin is a chemical which is actually a pesticide which can have neurological affects on your, this is how it kills the scabies, it basically frys their brains. Permethrin is a very dangerous chemical that is used to kills scabies. Be careful when using permethrin especially with children and never overtreat with permethrin. If you have a case of scabies that does not appear to go away with permethrin let your doctor know or try sulfur.

After I had scabies I had a small staph infection that arose and I used some tea tree oil undiluted on it for a few days and it went away. You gotta take good care of your skin in post scabies to avoid reinfection and post secondary skin infections.

Yeah I am in the same boat, I think during the post scabies week I got a small case of secondary skin infection in which I used alot of peroxide and some tea tree oil and in a few days it was gone before it could spread further. I would think after all that damage you did to your skin with the scabies and the treatments drying them out that you should moisturize well as your skins protectant layer needs moisture to protect your skin. Hope this helps
