Try using 8-10 drops of tea tree oil in your bath at night after you use the permethrin treatment. If you do this for a month after treatment it will detour the scabies from residing on your body and will also kill any eggs or stragllers that were in your skin.

This does help! I have tried it for 3days, the first day I put in too many drops and I was unable to even stay in the bath as the water got very cold from the tea tree oil and cause my skin to hurt. But once I just put in 8 drops of tea tree oil it was very relaxing and allowed me to sleep at night.

Thanks

Whatever you do, do not put over ten drops into your bath. I made the mistake of not measuring the ammount and I could only sit in the water for like 10minutes then my skin felt like it was being frozen by a dentist. But the next time I added 8 drops of tea tree oil and it worked like a charm. I am not sure that this tea tree oil will kill the scabies but it definetely puts me at ease more and allows me to sleep.

P.s - only use this stuff when you know your going to be around the house, tea tree oil has one of the worst smells ever and your friends and family will constantly harrass you about what that smell is
