So I have been using my own mixture for scabies which is working pretty good and letting me get alot of sleep at night, I am using a mixture of tea tree oil, noxemma 60% water and a couple drops of lavendar. This is really making the itching stop and it seems to be even killing off the scabies that are close to the surface. Ofcourse it is not a complete scabies kill as many of them are burrowed between fingers and cracks and folds in skin. But this has really helped me as a spot treatment after my scabies and during post scabies. Ofcourse it has a real weird smell and the cooling afffect of it is kinda weird also but it seems to be working.

Yes I seen this in another post, I am currently using tea tree oil in my laundry and to bath in. It seems to be very great and helps the skin not itch. thanks

This may help cool and sooth the scabies, but it certainly will not kill a regular case of scabies. This may be something to ease itching during post scabies but as far as a scabies treatment you would just be allowing the scabies to grow strong while you think its curing you. Tea tree oil does not kill scabies!

What exactly does lavendar do for your skin? Or in the case of scabies what would it achieve? I have tried tea tree oil it allows me to sleep at night by bathing with it for 30mins before bed. Gives me some comfort to sleep but I would still like to kill them.
Thanks

I have tried using tea tree oil in my baths and learned very quickly that you can only put about 8 drops into the water or else it turns the water into a freezing bath in which you can not even sit in, if you put 6-8 drops of tea tree oil in your bath it is very soothing and relaxing and allows me to get some sleep during the evening hours. I have also made a mixture and used it on my scalp and it did keep them off my scalp, actually it will not kill scabies but anytime you have an itching if you use your mixture on hte itch it will go away instantly which gives you some peace of mind and allows you to get daily things done. I have tried using sulfur and permethrin and both are horrible and messy and not to mention did not work. I am now treating naturally and having alot of success, I do not wanna say just yet im in post scabies but i am pretty sure the battle is ending.
