How come I have read about the resisance scabies has to creams, in my experience if you diagnosed the scabies quickly enough the creams woud be effective but if you were misdiagnosed for a few months the cream will have a harder time working its way into the skin meaning you missed places where the mites survived. Remember you have to break the cycle.

Yes it seems more and more scabies are becoming resistant to the permethrin, as people are even having problems killing them with sulfur, the problem lays with the scabies being able to burrow, so the creams and stuff are not penetrating far enough into your skin to kill the scabies, it would be adviced to look at other alternative cures.

It could be that these strains of scabies are now becoming more stronger and can handle the permethrin. This isnt saying all strains of it are the same but im guessing some are really strong and these could lead to norwegian scabies which will crust up your body afterawhile. Scabies is definetely becoming resisitant to things like permethrin and sulfur nowadays htough, this is why people look towards alternative treatments to rid of scabies.

Keep in mind that all strains of scabies are not the same, some are permethrin resistant strains. But at the same time if your infected from a person who has norwegian scabies you will only get regular scabies because the fact the person with norwegian scabies has a weaker immune system.

Yes scabies are becoming immune to permethrin treatments, it is shown in alot of cases. Like everyting in the world stuff evolves. Scabies strands have appeared to evolve this is why millions of people struggle to find a treatment.
