So after dealing with post scabies for a long time as I was misdiagnosed with scabies for a long time I built up a really thick skin so their were many layers of skin I had to shed off before the mites would come to the surface which would ultimately subside the itchiness associated with the scabies. Thanks! I am getting this. It seems my skin is really thick around my hands and shoulder blades. Do scabies create extra layers of skin? Because after I was diagnosed with scabies I really started to notice my skin was alot thicker than usual. Is this a sign of post scabies?
