I have just treated myself twice with treatments of permethrin 7 days apart and am now moisterizing my skin to help it heal as I was misdiagnosed with exzemma for 3 months before ultimatley being diagnosed with scabies. I was wondering if their is a product that can help get rid of all the post scabies markgins and acne type lessions. They are really ugly and seem hard to remove. Any info on a product that can help these heal would be great.

You can try using bleaching creams as they are really good at fading marks. Just continue to use the sulfur bars of soaps with a loofah while you shower and your skin will continue to break down to its initial layer and suface all the debris. You can also try putting a little bit of vitamin E on the areas during the daytime.

Thanks a bunch! these creams are defintely killing the scabies and also healing my skin very fast. It completely faded the brown marks that were left from the scabies and my skin is down to its first layer again. I am going to continue using these sulfur soaps just simply because it is really clearing up my skin even theh old acne I had before scabies.

I suggest this to everyone dealing with scabies

A++

Thanks

Rhonda

im waiting for my dermisil soap to arrive, in the meantime i have been using body shop cocoa butter scrub with shells and sand it, not helping the marks look better but great for removing layers of skin :)

That is the key for post scabies is removing the layers of skin which have the dead scabies mites and debris, this will make the itching eventually go away. I have said it before your two best friends during scabies and post scabies is sulfur creams, sulfur soaps and cocoa butter...

It also helps to use a good loofah while you shower after scabies. It helps to work out some of the stuff. You can get them cheap at walmart for like 4$ or less. Be sure to get something thats not going to fall apart in a couple showers though.

Try taking baths using half a cup of baking soda if you are having troubles sleeping from the scabies itch, this will help you atleast get some rest and minimize the itching associated with scabies.

Thanks! The sulphur creams worked and I am finally almost through with this scabies b.s. It seems these things don't like sulphur at all and it does a quick job of killing them off as it penetrates deep into the skin. Good info!

The dermisil sulfur and creams are very effective when it comes to killing scabies and reducing signs and sypmtoms of scabies in post scabies as well. Sulfur has been used for centuries to kill scabies and it also great for completely healing the lesions associated with scabies.

The stuff works!

The key is putting on the sulfur treatments during the evening and then you can use the bar soaps in the shower and spot treat during the day on areas with lessions or any type of "active" itching. I found this key when treating scabies.

Yah, I got rid of my scabies by using the sulfur mentioned above by dermisil and during post scabies I continued to use the sulfur soaps while I bathed and showered and during the day times I would apply thin layers of cocoa butter on the skin ( primarily in areas that were thicker like elbows, knee cap area, hands, feet etc) After a week I had no more scabies markings or lesions from post scabies!

Ok what if you had marks from scabies for a long time because i had scabies marks since 10 months and still have em and there sooo hard to get rid of so can the sulfur soap still help for 10 month old scabie marks?

Sulfur is the only thing that is going to help you beat scabies if you had them that long. Sulfur is the best at penetrating the skin and killing the scabies.

o.k. i've been dealing with scabies for two months and have tried the natural cures, sulphur paste, essential oils etc.
because i won't do the permethrin , it's just too bad for you, that stuff didn't work. i ran across some references to
enzymes and how they dissolve the scabies shell and eggs. i couldn't find any shampoo with enzymes so i went to petsmart
and bought nature's miracle ultra clean dog shampoo with enzymes, while i was there i noticed the skunk odor remover
had enzymes too so i got that one too. this stuff is non toxic. i got home and bathed me and my dog in a mixture of it and my itching has gone away completetly. i also ordered ivermectin which should arrive any day now, it is available from some canadian websites but if you're near mexico you can get it there too. i saw home depot sell this enzyme based bed bug killer
that also kills scabies to disinfect the house with, they have a laundry product too, that's on it's way and should be here any day.
i'm gonna give my dog ivomec, an ivermectin liquid for cattle the vet said can be used for dogs, the dose is 1ml orally per day
for a 60lb. dog but you should do the research on this. a lot of sites say dogs can't get it some say dogs and people can trade it back and forth. i know i have classic scabies symptoms and my dog had a little patch that looks like red mange, she's been scratching too. but she isn't after the enzyme bath. i plan on dealing with the external scabies with the enzyme baths and the internal ones with the ivermectin, i'm going to give myself 3 treatments 7 days apart and keep my dog on the ivomec dialy for a
month. i have read everything i can on this for the last month and this seems like a good course. i hope this can help someone.
