I really don’t have intense ithching any more, and all my bumps are fading away . I think I am healing and gone of the bugs. gradually. I noticed a few more lesions then I had on monday. I applied the 5% cream on monday night , then I was paranoid and once more on friday night. Please give me your opnions on my state as to whether I am free of scabies.

All we can do is just Eden, how could we exactly know that you are healing?. May be you should see your dermatologist once again and confirm. My guess is that if you caught it early, treated all over with the perm, and don't get reinfected from clothes, bed, home, etc. that you could be done. Bumps almost gone is a very good sign.I just feel use of perm 4 days later must have also saved you,you must use it once again after 4 days to be on the safer side.

No not on the face and the scalp, there wasn’t anything there so the doctor said i was good. And they advised me not to put on my face and scalp.

I have used this treatment 5 weeks aback, then once again 2 weeks ago. The itchiness is still there. But now almost after 5 weeks of treatment the itching is not that intense as it was (as in almost chopping my balls and limbs off to make it stop) ,even I am starting to guess that I am done with scabies.

Scabies seems like a very weird skin infection and contagious and itchy as hell most of all.

Due to the dead mites and poop etc under the skin itchyness will be there for a while, you just need to look for any new bites coming back. The healing of the bite spots is always a good sign, It is OK to be paranoid for a while, because never want to be reinfected and have to start over.

I'm not entirely sure how long I've had it. I can't even begin to imagine how the hell and form where I was infected form this scabies. I don't have any bedding to wash. I was using a sleeping bag which is now out of commission. I wash everything after I wear it. I am extra clean always with my clothings. I treated my whole body, even my scalp and face since there are bites there as well. I really need to know what the healing symptoms are.. So far I haven't been able to acquire much information about that.
