Scabies is an extremely infectious skin condition which is originated by a mite. It is a commonly occurring condition and causes small itchy blisters and bumps. There are tiny mites burrowed in the top layer of the skin. These burrows occasionally appear as reddish, short, wavy, or dark lines on the surface of the skin, especially between the fingers and around the wrists.

Such mite is unable to live with no a human mass for more than three days; however it can continue to exist for a month while residing on a human body. The mite can also lays eggs within the human skin and these develop into adult mites after hatched. Therefore the signs of the infection can actually remain for months, or years in a few cases.

Scabies is transmittable, and is typically passed on through sexual contact or by skin-to-skin contact with an individual who is already suffering with it. The infection would spread more easily in public conditions and in circumstances where there is higher close contact — like nursing homes or childcare centres. The rash that is caused by scabies is tremendously scratchy and is often referred to as the ‘seven-year itch’. The itchiness could be restrained and on few occasions, it is difficult to diagnose. Animals could also harbour a similar mite and when such animal mite is passed on to humans, it cannot replicate and would die in a few days. Scabies could affect everyone regardless of gender, race, age, social class or hygiene habits.

There are numerous different ways to kill scabies naturally instead of using dangerous chemicals such as permethrin. If your looking to kill your scabies with 3 items from your grocery store within 24 hours you should Visit --> http://ScabiesCure.info

How long do the eggs stay in your skin for? Say you treat one day but they are still eggs, is the treatments going to kill those eggs or just the scabies? Is this why they want you to treat again in 7 days?

You want to treat again in 7days because the creams are known to not kill the scabies eggs which hatch 5-7 cycles, so sometimes the first application of kwelleda p will not kill eveyrthing and you should treat 7 days later to eliminate the scabies life cycle. You will continue to itch for months later as your skin exfoliates the debris, this is known as post scabies. Word of advice: get yourself some skin exfoliators on this forum, the blue banner stuff, I think its called Dermalisis. It will help you avoid that post scabies itching feeling for months.

So once the raised bumps and stuff start going away you are in the clear? I know after scabies is post scabies which your skin is healing from the allergies from scabies, but in post scabies do you still see raised bumps and for how long? I am also still itching during the day but not as much at night.

I have raised red bumps still on my fingers and arms. They are little tiny blisters. I have treated our family 2 times now with lindane and am wondering the same thing. Are they active or post scabies. My last treatment was on Monday night.

It seems alot of people have scabies mites that are resistant to the over the counter permethrin products such kwelleda p and other pesticide creams, you should try curing with natural treatments that are suggested on this forum. I know that scabies can make your skin thick, which makes it hard for those creams to even penetrate the skin. The odds are if you treated twice and you still feel you have scabies you should try treating naturally, this will allow your skin to heal faster as the pesticides have long lasting side effects which mimick the actual scabies for up to 7 years. And as studies are showing, permethrin treatments are becoming widely ineffective for scabies treatment as the scabies are becoming resistant to the 5% permethrin creams.

You should also implement a good exfoliating regiment into your scabies/post scabies treatment to help your skin surface the dead scabies mites and their debris or you will be itching for years. Many people overlook this step and just treat the scabies when the scabies itching is actually from your skin being allergic to the debris and dead scabies mites. You will find good exfoliators online also, the one banner gives you a free sample which will last you months and do the trick. Here is the website: Dermisil Scabies Skin Exfoliator
