I know scabies are like millimeters and length and only visible to the eye via microscope, but other than that can they grow bigger than usual or carry any unusual charateristics that they may normal not have. Like for instance if they are resistant to permethrin treatments such as Nix and Kwellada-p would they gain momentum or build extra stronger charaterisitcs from this that would make them even more resistant? This is just a question but at the same time I really think this is what is happening and the scabies strain has evolved over the last decade or so. It really seems that millions more people each year get scabies and complain of the same resistant strain they have or lack of proper treatments that work. So my question is do you think that they could have taken on a new stronger strain because of chemical treatments?

I think it is very likely that strains of scabies are becoming resistant to permethrin and other treatments, and I really do support your topic as if they are resistant to certain types of treatment then they could possibly be growing in size or becoming more stronger which mite make them even more resistant. As far as what they look like, scabies can not been seen by visible eyes but there is a video of them on this forum I will post below. I would love to hear more about resistant scabies and why the government hasnt come up with alternative over the counter treatments as of yet! Especially with all the people who can't get rid of their scabies.
