You can tell because the lessions stop appearing and start fading away and the itchiness is not as aggressive during the evening hours when they are most active. Remember scabies usually shows up in clusters of lessions of bubbly type markings, and once you have had scabies a reinfection you should spot rite away.

Hope this helps

Yeah lessions will start flattening out, you will not see groupings of the scabies rash, you will not be constantly scratching your skin, these are some signs scabies are going away. Your mood swings should stop going away as your body starts getting more rest, I know when I had scabies I barely got a good nights sleep as I was always awake feeling itchy and movements, once I started healing I started getting better sleeps which lead to peace of mind and I could actually think straight again. Trust me scabies can take a toll on you mentally not just phsically, I literally had to quit my job because of it. Hope you guys get well, there was alot of useful information on this forum when I was here months ago and It helped me alot.

God Bless

Active scabies will be more noticeable and active during the evening hours when they like to move around and feed. Post scabies itching is just like regular itching during all hours from allergies due to mites and their debris under your skin still..
