If you have pets should we be treating them for scabies also? Because I have a cat and would hate to see her going through the same thing that I am going through. I have been monitoring her and no signs as of yet that she has it, I will keep an eye on her more. If you know please post it here thanks.

Wouldnt really worry, pets typically get mange which is different. Your animals mite be a carrier of scabies between you and other family members but scabies does not like to live on anything but humans so they would die on a cat after a few days.
