My husband touched a wild cat that has very bad mange. That day he got itchy rash on his hanld and arm. It now has needn't two weeks & the rash is on his collar bone & very itchy. I thought mange cannot live long on humans? What do we do?

We are desperate to figure this out as we have a newborn he isn't able to touch.
