Usually after contracting scabies it can take up to a few weeks for the signs to start showing which will be itching as it is the first sign until your skin becomes allergic to the scabies mites and their fecal matter left under the skin which will start to cause the rashes. This is followed by tunnel marks you may see which resemble zig zag types of tunnels which are usually near skin folds.
