I thought I was over the live infection until this morning when I saw a new hive on my chest. I previously treated 3G with permethrin (before I new the side effects). Does a new hive mean live infection? I am itchy at night but not that creepy crawly

With scabies the first week after treatment is hard to tell because you still have the dead mites and their fecal matter under your skin which is triggering the itchiness. The itching to look out for is that itching that is more intense during the evening hours. If you just see one bump it may not be active scabies but if you notice more bumps develop and nightime itching then it is likely you never got rid of scabies in the first place or you got reinfected. Also those pesticides with permethrin like kwelleda p , lindane and nix are dangerous and will cause this buzzy feeling in your body and can make itching worse during the week after applying it. I would suggest anyone who has scabies be treating with sulfur treatments which are the most effective and they actually help your skin heal faster. Here is a good website to get everything to kill scabies on your body and in your environment:

This should help!

P.s Also apply light layers of cocoa butter to places like elbows, knee caps, hands and problem areas during the day.
