Bed bugs are lady bug size insects. Ridding yourself of these little guys is a big problem that seems to frequenty infest areas of the inner cities, more specifically where a lot of people congregate in small spaces. Bed bugs, being nocturnal, only come out at night to eat and do the things that bed bugs do. They feed on the blood of humans, and skip away to hide by morning's light. This isnt something that we can prevent, once the bed bugs have come to roost, because there are two things that we have that bed bugs love: our body heat, and the carbon dioxide that comes out of our mouth with our breath. This would explain why the arms and shoulders are the most common feeding ground for bed bugs.

While bed bugs are feeding, their proboscis punctures our skin, and their saliva is expelled to first numb our skin so our sleep goes undisturbed. With a second proboscis, they suck up our blood. This feeding session will last anywhere from 7 to 10 minutes. Bed bugs go through a color change from a pale brown color to a dark reddish tint.

The favorite places bed bugs like to hang out in are the crevices and cracks of our lives. This would include our mattresses, upholstered chairs, headboards on our bed, and our clothes, to name a few. Because of their low flat body style, they can easily slip in between the cracks and folds of these places to get away from anyone looking to squash them. This also means that they don't have far to go when it comes to feeding again, as these places are all where humans like to hang out too. If you don't find bedbugs in these places, you can look in the cracks of floorboards, walls, carpets, other types of furniture and behind faded and peeling wallpaper.

Bed bugs have increased their infestations at an alarming rate in the inner cities over the past few years. Bed bugs don't just go for the unkempt homes and people with poor hygienic habits. Anyone can become a victim of bed bugs. Bed bugs have the ability to swiftly multiply their kind and spread out far and wide.

The easiest way to kill Bed Bugs is to use the proper treatments that actually work, I realize this is a problem that requires urgent attention so if you want to get rid of your bed bugs visit: http://www.BugBedTreatment.com
