I got diagnosed with scabies feb. 25th intense itching bites on my genitals and armpits..I though I had herpes because I had these itchy big zits on my scrotum and penis and was prepared for the worst. Derm said i do not have std...he did a scraping and confirmed scabies..thus the itching etc...and i had bites all over my body i found after the first treatemnet with permeth. I did another treatment a week later and one more a week later just to be sure....so the itching is pretty much gone but today i noticed a new itchy bump on my scrotum again that looks just like the scabies ones did....should I retreat...I havent been with anyone sexually so I know its not an std... could i be reninfested. and should i finish off a tube of permethryn i still have and retreat...all over... I have been extremely dilgient about cleaning and laundry.....dont really even know how i got this...i do live in crowded NYC...gyms trains...etc..


any ideas/?? I guess i can also drag myself back to derm again...just dont want to jump to conclusions as he said it should be all taken care of with two applications a week apart..
