I have seen a lot of posts and comments on dermisil here, and I am still quite skeptical as a lot of them seem to be planted by the actual company that sells the product. I have had scabies for 2 years, and have basically given up, I can't beat them with normal medicinal treatments from the pharmacy and trying to keep everything clean.

It just really seems that it is too good to be true, with a lot of people saying things like "cured my scabies in 4 days!" which I find hard to believe. I would really appreciate any help you guys could give me, I have lost the last 2 years of my life to this parasite and I don't know what else to do. I am a 21 year old university student and my best years are going to waste.

Also... I am living in a household of 4 people. Me, my brother and my parents. I have been the only one who has shown any symptoms of the scabies infection, is it still necessary to treat the whole family?

Please help me get my life back. Thank you.

Yes it works! They say it cures you in 4 days because for a normal scabies infection it will only take 4 days to cure and for a more severe one up to 8 days. You simply use full body treatments during the evening hours ensuring you have your body fully covered and follow up with spot treating during the day. I would also suggest taking a nice soak in epsom salts for 35mins each night before you do your full body application, keep in mind you have to also make sure to dry off very well after before you apply the dermisil. I used permethrin 3 times and it never worked so I tried the dermisil a few weeks ago and I am now cured. But from what your saying is you definetly have a more complex case of scabies if you had it for a year. You may even have norwegian scabies which the skin can host literally thousands of mites as opposed to a normal scabies infection where a person has 8-15 active mites. In your case you may need both Dermisil and oral Invermectin.

Thanks for the reply! I am positive it's not norwegian scabies, actually if anything I have a very mild case of scabies as it doesn't bother me that much. But the main issue I have is that I have had it for so long with the permethrin not working, actually I'm not sure if it worked or not, or if I just got re-infected after I washed it off. Regardless, I just want to get rid of it once and for all but I don't understand why nobody else in my household has any symptoms.

The one thing that is ruining my life isn't the scabies symptoms, it's the fear of transmitting it to someone else.

I too am skeptical but am going to try the product and see as nothing else thus far worked. Here's to hoping! Does anyone know what the cremes for Dermsil are like? Do they absorb into the skin fast or are they oily and messy causing that wet feeling on your body? Im really hoping Dermisil works. Also since they contain sulfur are they really eggy smelling or are they more of a medicated smell?

They are very nice on the skin and heal it very well. I love the soaps because they contain high ammounts of sulfur and also have exfoliants in the bars which really quickly exfoliate your skin and surface the scabies mites and dead scaley skin. The soaps and creams suprisingly smell very nice as sulfur has a lime kinda smell so its not overwhelming, I know sulfur in its purest form is very strong smelling but this is not overhwelming.

But with scabies smell is not a huge thing because when I had it the only thing I was thinking about was getting rid of the damn things. Try using a air freshner around the house and only wear your clothing once as it will likely make your clothing smell if anything. Just wear old clothing around the house when your going to be putting the creams on.

Just my 2cents
