Does anyone know if spending a couple hours a night in a sauna will eventually kill their cycle and kill them off? Seems like a great alternative to medications if you have a sauna available ?

hmmm..this is very interesting. I could not seeing this being bad for dealing with scabies. Not sure if this can completely kill them but would not doubt it. Interesting

It will definetely help open up your pores and push everything from under your skin to the surface. Saunas are great for your skin, this surely can not be harmful in any way.

Yeah, I beleive this can be a very good thing for a case of Scabies and if you do it enough im sure it could even cure a full blown infestation. Though I do not recommend going to a sauna i a public place or tanning beds. This is a horrible way to pass scabies around. Be safe and treat scabies safely, keeping others around you in mind.

In conjunction with an actual ethical treatment this would probably make sense and help with the post scabies or killing of the scabies mite, but like mentioned above I doubt this alone in itself will kill a complete scabies infestation.

I don't think this would work because they can ultimately breath and you have to remember that scabies dwell best in humid damp conditions and heat makes them more active. Having a sauna in post scabies though can really help your skin sweat out all the debris and material but you are still going to have to exfoliate as you will only be able to sweat out stuff in the upper pores.

If you guys want an easy scabies killer that actually works within a few days you should visit the Naturasil website as they have the best scabies products to kill scabies. It seems alot of you on here are having trouble using permethrin as it becomes less effective against scabies and mites. Saunas really helped me during scabies just to ease the itch and help me get sleep. I know it did not help kill them but it gave me peace of mind in the hard times.
