You can just get infected with scabies from anyone,highly contagious,just trying everything possible to get out of it.

There had been someone in out house who was infected with scabies.He has taken some oral medicine and I have been talking care to wash his clothes as well as his bedding in hot water.I am really worried,does our whole family need to be treated. do we have to keep meticulously relaundering his clothes,bedding,towels after every use?What do we do about the mattresses,car?is it really necessary to also iron all the laundry?thanks
